I was diagnosed with Alzheimers. The world fell apart. I began to have "help" for everything so It would be "done correctly"... Was I doing it incorretly?.. I Guess so. I was forgetting and other things which come with loosing your mind. I admit: It was like a having wall between me and my memories.
A friend gave me the Mindwavescapes CD's. Told me to listen to specific tracks twice a day. I was really not wanting too and he said: Don't you want to feel better? OK I had to try them.
Well, All I can say is: Yes I have a brain and it is intact. The peculiar floating music has done something to me because my memory, most of what seemed to be missing before isn't missing anymore.
I still forget things but I'm just a bit less fearful my mind is slipping away.
I play chess, I couldn't do that four months ago.The brain is so peculiar the tones that control it are also peculiar. I have no real idea how these CD's work except the music assists whatever part of the brain that is in need or shall I say, loosing it's power. That's how I think about it.... But then ---I have Alzheimers. Or do I now?..
